Dr. William M. Oldham is a physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He is also an instructor in medicine at Harvard Medical School.

He received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He then completed a residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and a fellowship at the Harvard Combined Pulmonary and Critical Care program . He is board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary disease.

Dr. Oldham’s clinical interests include acute respiratory distress syndrome, pulmonary vascular disease, right heart failure and sepsis. His clinical research examines the role of aldosterone levels with respect to cardiac reserve capacity and the relationships between hypoxia and cardiovascular diseases. He has written over 15 peer-reviewed publications and has received funding from the National Institutes of Health.
