Doctorate in Science - Area of Public Health from the University of São Paulo - USP (2012) and Post-Doctorate in Public Health from the University of São Paulo - USP (2013). He works as a researcher at the University of São Paulo-USP and is a professor - researcher (Associate - A) at Undergraduate and Graduate (Stricto Sensu) at Unioeste, in the disciplines of Epidemiology and Health Surveillance (undergraduate) and Epidemiological Studies (Postgraduate -University graduate). Visiting Professor at the Universidad Nacional de Misiones - Argentina (Maestría en Salud Pública y Enfermedades Transmisibles). He develops his activities in the field of Public Health, focusing on Epidemiology, working mainly on the following topics: Epidemiological Methods, Operational Research in Health and Epidemiology of Emerging and Reemerging Communicable Diseases in an international border region. He has field experience, research and teaching in tuberculosis, leprosy, primary health care and epidemiological surveillance.
