Priya Bhosale, M.D. joined The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center October 2004, and is a fellowship trained Radiologist in Abdominal Imaging in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology.
Dr. Bhosale has authored and co-authored over 130 peer-reviewed articles; 9 invited articles; 8 book chapters and over 100 abstracts and scientific and educational exhibits at National and International conferences on the topics of body imaging in gynecologic and pancreatic malignancies. Dr. Bhosale is a collaborator on 11 funded projects with total funds worth $3,675,285. She is also the principal investigator on 5 funded research protocols. She was recently awarded a $50,000 grant from The National Science Foundation for her study: "Novel Applicator for MR Imaging"
Her published works on oncologic Abdominal Imaging can be found in numerous journals, some of which are the American Journal of Radiology (AJR); Radiographics; Radiology; Neuroendocrinology; Journal of Computer Assisted Tomography (JCAT); The British Journal of Radiology (BJR); and Abdominal Imaging.
Her research interests are applications of new CT, MR, and PET/MR Imaging techniques and contrast agents to the evaluation of Gynecologic malignancies and Pancreatic malignancies.
Dr. Bhosale is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a member of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA); Fellow of Society of Abdominal Radiology (SAR); and Fellow of Society of Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (SCBT-MR). She is a clinical Co-Director of Quantitative Imaging lab (QIAC) and the Co-Chair of Diagnostic Radiology Peer Research Review Committee.
