An innovative scientist with over 10 years teaching and research experience in the field of nutrition, forage science and livestock environment interaction.
• Research experience includes: alternative to conventional feed stuff for animal, improvement of non-conventional feedstuff, nutrient requirements for African chicken, participatory rural appraisal, village extension outreaches, research exhibitions, monitoring and evaluation of funded research as well as development of livestock marketing and extension strategies.
• Screening and evaluation of lesser known indigenous feed stuff, dry matter yield, laboratory analysis and nutritive quality evaluation.
• Data analysis using SPSS, SAS and Excel packages
• Computer literacy with skills in Microsoft word, MS Excel, Power point, and
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with competence for independent research, extension and inherent ability to impart knowledge.
• Ability to handle and use several laboratory equipment including, bomb calorimeter, flame photometer, LECO and amino acid analyser.
• Administrative experience in the running of University system and research institutes, skills in development of viable programs and projects with potentials to increase internally generated revenue.
