Dr
Location: Australia
I have over 16-years of grant proposal development experience and over my career, I have assisted in attracting $27 million in Australian and International grant funding.
My success in grant proposal writing is attributed to my attention to detail, my good project management skills (have never missed a deadline), developing a compelling grant proposal and looking at the grant application through the eyes of the funding body ensuring all criteria are met.
My work with clients involves identifying grant opportunities, thoroughly understanding the grant guidelines, liaising with the funding body to clarify guidelines and requirements, liaising with the project team to coordinate the information, and developing a coherent and compelling grant proposal and supporting documentation.
I have established grant calendars, written Expressions of Interests, Letters of Intent, Full grant proposals and coordinated multi-partner grant submissions. I also develop all the supporting documentation including the budget, letters of support and biodatas.
I have worked in big Pharma, Start-up companies and the Technology Transfer sector in the US, Singapore, and Australia, where I acquired significant experience in writing grants, market analysis, development of business plans and information memorandum.
I worked in the Not-for-profit sector in Australia where I identified potential grants, developed the grant and supporting documentation and coordinated the submission. As part of the role, I also established a grant and prospective database.
I have assisted numerous Startups, Small Businesses, Universities, and Not for Profit organizations in various fields (Medical, Health, Engineering, Education) to write and review their grant applications and establish grant databases and write their business plans and information memorandum.
I obtained my PhD from the University of Western Australia and completed postdoctoral training both at Johns Hopkins and the National Institutes of Health in the medical science field.
I pride myself on providing high quality work within very tight deadlines. Moreover, establishing a long-term working relationship is also very appealing to me.
