Lissa serves as the fiscal administrator of the Connors Center. She joined the Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) in 1998 as the founding administrator in the Division of Women’s Health and has held subsequent administrative leadership positions in the Harvard Medical School Center of Excellence In Women’s Health, BWH Research Council, now known as the Brigham Research Institute, and the BWH Department of Pathology. In addition to financial management responsibilities, she leverages her considerable experience in sponsored research management to work with investigative groups on proposal development strategies to enhance the fundability of grant applications, with an emphasis on advising individual fellows and early stage faculty investigators in the development of a research program that is in alignment with their career goals and academic development plans.
