Dr.Ning received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2013 from University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN. His advisor was Professor Tryphon Georgiou. He obtained his M.S. and B.S. from Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China, in 2008 and 2006, respectively. His master-thesis adviser was Professor Qinghe Wu.
Dr.Ning joined the Psychiatry and Neuroimaging Laboratory at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School as a postdoctoral research fellow with Professor Yogesh Rathi in Dec. 2013. He became an Instructor at Harvard Meical School in October 2015 and Assistant Professor in Feburary 2019., he also held joint appointments from the Department of Radiology at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and the Department of Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital.
