Professional Narrative

My career in medicine began after the completion of my Medical School. Initially, I provided health care and worked as a clinical physician. Later in 2017, I started working as a Post-doc research fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School in Boston. During this time, I developed an extensive skillset, focusing mostly on research design, methodology, statistical analysis, interpretation of analysis and manuscript writing. I was extensively involved in national data analysis of transplant patients. My research is focused on the outcomes of post-transplant patients mostly related to post kidney transplant and liver transplant. However, I have worked on the projects which involved pateints with simultaneous Kidney and Heart transplant.

The development of new research questions based on current gaps in clinical practice, the use of various statistical analyses to answer those questions, and the extensive study of transplant and COVID-19 outcomes has been the major focus of my work lately. As such, this is a research area of substantial international interest.

I am working as a Physician scientist and would like to contribute further in the field of medicine at the best I can.
