Professional Narrative

As my research expertise is in microbial biotransformation and fermentation technology is a unique area in the field of the drug development process. Microbial enzymes have gained exponential attention in the field of drug discovery and they provide an eco-friendly synthesis route to the chemical route. Nowadays the pharmaceutical industry is applying the green synthesis route for pharmaceuticals and India is one of the growing hubs for the pharmaceutical industry. Therefore there is a need to explore such green technology which can alternate chemical rotes. Biocatalyst has efficient potential to modify/ transform one compound to other compounds by conformational changes in skeleton structure without any side bi-product generation.
