Professor, Division of Neurological Surgery, Department of Surgery, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan
Location: Nigeria
I am a Professor of Surgery (Neurological Surgery) at the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria; and, a Honorary Consultant Neurosurgeon at the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan, Nigeria. I did medical school, and neurological surgery residency training in these same instutions, respectively; after which I did a post-residency clinical fellowship in Skull Base Surgery for 2 years at the Department of Neurosurgery, Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center, Ein-Kerem, Jerusalem, Israel..I also had training stints in several institutions in the United States of America, including Loma Linda University Medical Center, California; Barnes and Jewish Hospital of the Washington University at St. Louis, Missouri; Johns Hopkins Medical Center, Baltimore, and Boston's Children's Hospital, Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery, Harvard Medical School, and some more. I have also being in a Military Hospital in Germany.
All my medical education at home in Nigeria was done in English language, Nigeria's official language of education/governement and all, being a former British Colony
As such, I have a very good, nay, excellent, command of spoken, read, and written English. And of course, I have a very good personal record of productivity in scientific writing, evidenced by my rich academic corpus in the scientific literature--please look up my profile (Adeleye AO, Neurosurgery subjects) on Pubmed, Google Scholar, and Researchgate. All these, I believe, stand me in very good stead for collaborating with others who may need my help in scientific writing in the English language
